Wear It Pink Day – Let's Think Pink! 💗

It's time to think pink as we celebrate Wear It Pink Day, raising awareness of breast cancer and supporting the importance of research, early detection and care.

For this colourful collection of dementia-friendly activities, we're exploring all things pink! From beautiful pink flowers, animals and things in nature to familiar foods, drinks, everyday objects and much-loved television characters, there's plenty to recognise, remember and talk about.

We'll be testing our powers of observation with some picture identification quizzes, completing familiar pink sayings and expressions, and taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Who remembers drinking Mateus Rosé, enjoying a Pink Gin or sipping a Pimm's on a summer afternoon?

And, of course, there'll be some wonderful music with a pink connection, featuring familiar songs and artists to enjoy, sing along to and discuss.

Whether you're joining in at home, with family and friends or as part of an activities group, there's something for everyone. So put on your rose-tinted spectacles, get those memories flowing and enjoy a little pink-themed fun!

Boosting brain power together to benefit quality of life. 💗
