Celebrate World Bread Day on 16 October with a generous helping of memories, conversation, quizzes and music!

We’ll explore breads from around the world, complete familiar bread sayings and remember classic television adverts. There’s also time to talk about favourite sandwich fillings, comforting soups and the wonderful smell of freshly baked bread.

Our musical menu includes “Baker Street” by Gerry Rafferty, “Make It with You” by Bread and “I Can’t Let Maggie Go” by Honeybus, remembered by many from the Nimble bread adverts.

Enjoy these activities at your own pace, with a group or over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious. Everyone is welcome to join in, share a memory or simply listen and enjoy.
