Saxophone Day – 6th November 🎷

Celebrating the wonderful sound of the saxophone!

Today we're celebrating Saxophone Day, marking the birthday of Adolphe Sax, the Belgian inventor who gave the world one of its most distinctive and expressive musical instruments.

From classical concert halls and smoky jazz clubs to big-band dance halls, pop hits and famous film soundtracks, the saxophone has provided some truly unforgettable musical moments.

Our dementia-friendly Cognitive Stimulation Therapy activities offer plenty of opportunities to listen, reminisce, share memories and have fun together.
